While creating promotional images for La Manga Club along the Mediterranean coast, the marketing mandate was clear: bright blue skies, radiant sunshine, and vibrant, high-contrast colors designed to sell a flawless vacation experience. Mother Nature, however, had entirely different plans for the shoot.
Heavy gray clouds swept rapidly across the coastline, cloaking the landscape in a moody overcast gloom. While these overcast conditions were unmarketable for traditional tourism campaigns, dramatic weather frequently offers a far richer, more compelling canvas for authentic fine art photography.
